The Huawei DSLAMs that TPG use do not support Annex M.

4mbit is the download cap overnight.

I only have an 8mbit connection, but you can see it's effect in this pic:

Yep, appears tpg opened up their unlimited plan for a massive amount of exchanges, everyone I know on tpg hardware is able to get it...

I don't think I can get it, but even just the move from the 130 to 180 is a crapload enough for me. All I download these days is steam games, the occasional mame update and select tv shows which are starting again at the end of this month again.

Plus $50p/m is my limit for internet.

I think you should get in touch with a TPG rep
    Package Type: ADSL2+ Unlimited
Downloads used: 41594.424 MB Uploads used: 5712.622 MB Total used: 47307.046 MB
Wish my internet speed was faster then I would download like 100GB per day if I was living next to the exchange.

I have not been following these new unlimited so if someone can explain then it would make it a lot more easier

Okay, so is the unlimited really unlimited and I can download as much as I want, no hiddne clause? Can I still keep my existing dial tone and I can easily churn to another ISP in the future if need to?

Last month I read that changing to the unlimited or 1TB download will make future churning difficult, because those plan require the line be connected to the ISP and not Telstra. Does this apply to these new plan?

Even at 2MB/s down and 200KB/s up 24/7 you would only be able to pull ~6TB

And thats best case, real case a user might only be able to pull 1TB a month, and this isnt a real cause for concern from TPG, many users get away with +1TB of monthly usage... or so i've heard

TPG don't care if a user uses 10GB or 10TB.

you should also note that adsl1 is on telstra ports.

Unlimited plan speed seems to be slower than 200GB adsl2+ :(

well to be honest why would/should i care how much i download if i am on unlimited plan right? isnt part of the reason you want to know (other than to brag to your mates and other people who dont have access to tpg unlimited intarwebz) is only if you have a limit/quota?
