    got a 100% copper heatercore out of a vintage mercedes benz and a CPU waterblock that is also copper, but is 92.5% silver base :)

    :)

    it won't be for a while until i get all the bits im after, but yeah, water cooling the old girl

    The beige painted BluRay drive looks great. A good solution for obnoxiously bright blue LEDs (which seems to be standard now) is to put a couple of layers of electrical tape or something similar over them. This makes them a lot dimmer. I did that on the power light of the freebie Thermaltake Chaser A71 I was given because it pointed upwards towards my face!

    Thank you, and yeah i've used the tape method, my favourite is the blu-tack method :) as you can block the light completely out if you want to, if you can't sleep with it on.



    Oh, sadly i've taken the DVD drive out, the 6x 2.5" singe 5.25 enclosure came in the post and well, it's now in that space. I got an external USB drive if i need one now. But yeah, if i had the room, i would definately leave it in there.
