Just followed a link from here and was surfing over @ Hack & Mod and come across this beauty!

    http://hacknmod.com/hack/flat-screen-hacked-virtual-pinball-cabinet/

How cool is that! A massive Virtual Pinball table! with a seperate LCD for the score etc... I think if I ever come across a screen big enough & cheap enough I'll be doing this for my shed / fun room!

I cant seem to find a worklog for this particular cabinet :( ... anyways it still looks awesome !

Here's some links for the software & a guide.

A PDF on how to make your own Futre Pinball Table - http://www.futurepinball.com/downloads/PCWorld_-_Build_Your_Own_Game_-_Future_Pinball.pdf

Apologies if it's been posted here before.
    Cheers

But the cool thing is you can design your own tables! or download others i'd think.

Some ppl will spend 1 - 5k (and more) on a single table ... This is custom for endless fun!!

Man I want to get a big cheap telly now! hehe

EDIT: found the forums ... but you have to be a member to login and see the homebrew section http://www.futurepinball.com/forum/

it would be really cool if it was touch screen, then you could play a bunch of games and creating your own tables would be super easy!

the only thing would be the speakers built in to the tv... if you got a pure monitor (no tuner/speakers it would make it a touch easier

Pretty cool! I've got heaps of tables and use vpinmame on my lappy. It'd be cool to have a dedicated system though.

Anyone know how to only show the table in future pinball?

As that 1st post only has the table showing.

Unless its a feature of that frontend program.

    Not necessarily;

You can pick up an LCD screen that big fairly cheap these days, espec if it only does 720p resolutions.

It would probably end up being cheaper or about the same price as buying a REAL pinball mahcine.. Only with this one you can do heapsss more. :)
