Damn it, I have got a Virus in the 'System Volume Information' folder and AVP picks it up every time it scans, yet it gives me no option to do anything with it like a normal virus, and I cannot even get into the folder to find the damaged file. Does anyone know anyway I can get rid of this little nasty?

the virus is located in a restore point.
to delete it, simply turn off system restore and the restore point will be deleted.

then, if you wish, you can turn system restore back on. (after a reboot)

I was hoping it would be something simple like that, thanks. Seems to have worked perfectly. I'm actually amazed system restore was on, I usually turn it off straight away after a fresh install of WinXP anyway. :)
