Hi All, Lots of apps in this space but just after any recommendations/suggestions.

We're just after a cloud/app based solution to run on an iPad at reception at a couple of sites that will print visitor tags out of a Brother/Zebra printer.

What industry are you in? There is often good industry specific stuff for this, likely integrates to other stuff you use.

Just implemented Rapid Global system throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Extremely good software and support is second to none.

Yeah, we have RapidGlobal for visitor and contractor sign-in.

Contractors belong to companies who must be registered with us, upload documents of public liability, SWMS, etc before they can work onsite. There is a portal that each company can log in to and check stuff, update documents etc.

The 2 stations we have setup take a photo on the first sign-in and print a label for each visit. My only issue with that is the photos are very under-exposed with no real option to change it, so most of the time the photo is just a black square.

There is also an induction that each contractor and visitor must run through (evac points etc).

It also emails staff when someone is onsite to visit them. They can then meet the visitor at the office.

    Sign in application

We do visitor sign in with an ipad also

    "Sign In" app for iPad

prints customizable name badge icons on our dymo printer.
has reports, custom rotaing backgrounds, remembers and auto completes returning visitors, custom disclaimer text.

the number of people who have commented on how good it is, even clients in mining and engineering, oh if only they new it was

i'm struggling to find it in the app store though.

Its by iVenuto.com but I think they have remade the app and called it ZapIn.

EDIT: looks like they may have butchered the app. ours was under $20 once off through the app store. now looks like they are charging $50 a month per device.

ours looks and functions like their "Sign In" app but has the icon of ZapIn.

Thanks, All will start taking a look, at first glance Envoy looks good but we'll need to do some testing.
