Hard to believe that this technology existed 50+ years ago. This is the replica of the launcher that took Yuri Gagarin into space in 1961.

Thanks to Oryp Cainam for the research.

Yep, that's what the sky look like at sunset. It was blue sky all day and horrible lighting condition in the afternoon so I decided to go back to to the rocket at sunset and the storm came in, ended up getting caught in the storm.

Thanks Jacque, I was telling Jen all that's missing a gigantic strobe on the left :)

Not sure what cloud it was, that was the edge of the storm. It came over pretty quick, within 30 mins from blue sky to thunderstorm, never seen anything like that where I live.

VDNKh was awesome, also very tacky as well :) Did you visit the theme park on the right as you walked in? Also, noticed a very angry Vader walking around the park looking for people take photo with him but he gets upset if you don't pay in advance.

I had a look at the theme park. I'd planned to go on the ferris wheel, but ran out of time. I bought some Kvass that came out of a keg, it tastes like carbonated rye bread.
