Just recently re-installed our Windows Server 2008 R2 server at work with our new SSDs (2x x25-M) - currently using Software Raid0 on the 'Storage' section of the disks.

Anyways, long story short, I hear that Win7/W2K8 are meant to automatically optimize SSD alignments - but with all things, I want to confirm.

nope, offset is wrong.... well I think anyway. The main partition seems to be in the right spot. Maybe its something to do with the Dynamic disks?

If your offset is wrong your SSD will be suffering and the performance will be low.

Format the drive with WIndows Vista or 7, and maybe check it then
