    Hello OCAU!

I'm pleased to announce that my companies (Warcom & Insiteful) have joined forces with OCAU's resident photography super heros, David Reid & Edward Hor to bring to you, the Melbourne Glamour Photography Workshop.

The event will be held in Campbellfield, in my new warehouse an will have a very 'grungy car/bike/weapon of choice theme' to it.

We only have 24 spots available this round, so get in fast.

Any questions - fire away in this thread.

    - Paul, Dave, Ed.

just curious as im sure this is gonna come up anyway, why this session is $60 more than the other courses? as i understood it a highly contributing factor to the cost was a hotel room in the cbd, which ur not using this time.
dont get me wrong i definatly in and have no issues at all with the price, im just curious...

I'm paying two of the warcom guys to be here for the weekend.

(there's a bit of stock here, which I'd hate to go missing)

I'm paying someone to video the event, and then give it to you guys (this is free).

And I have to cover the cost to me too, power, elec, etc.

I won't make any money out of this by the time it's done, but that's not my goal anyway.

    ---

I'm doing the workshop too :)

    Yep, or there abouts~

Based on how long the guys go.

nb: You are QUITE welcome to bring your own cars, bikes, and have the ladies pose on/in them!

I think a bike would be best. I think the "shapes" match better. And Cars are a bit big and take up to much of the photo.

just to confirm more so, the cost of flying the gear is stupidly expensive... $10/kilo..... considering our lights at 8kilos each.... 4 lights.... maths is fun... that excludes stands, modifiers, stuff..... we(i) drove for brissy. :) just to let you know and its a totally valid point so  all good.

oh also there is still a cost of the hotel room :) ed and i and models and makeup need to sleep somewhere unless someone has a free rock we can all climb under :)

i try to save on bed space by sleeping with both the models in the same bed though so - im thinking of u guys :)

    Hi,

I want to attend this one and I will be flying down from Brisbane since I was in NZ last weekend.

Are there any nice hotels around the shoot loc? Or if there is a few people traveling where are people looking to stay? I normally stay at Crowne Plaza, Hilton or Rydges.
