Can anyone recommend a good photographer for a wedding in 2009?
ronza def. or the fella above, he did pretty well on chunkies wedding
if you have a large budget cos he isn't cheap then Tim Williams (Williams Photography I think he trades as now) he is fantastic. Did my wedding and several of my friends.
Might be worth saying what style of photos you want etc.
People might recommend photographers that aren't the style you're after...
Preetty sure he's back now. lol. he's back on msn haha
Thats an extremely good point. Some of the wedding shots posted up here recently were great shots, but something I wouldnt be asking for at my wedding.
He'll fly to you
No looking to spend heaps but I would like some nice photos...
a combination of photos.. i'm not too picky.. some portrait shots, candid shots and just some simple shots would be great...
I'm a wedding photographer.
As I'm just changing from portraiture, and haven't done too many weddings I currently do them at reduced prices (but not reduced quality).
I've never been good at the sales pitch side of things, but can tell you I aim for a variety of photos, both candid and posed, plus have portable studio lighting equipment. I have a great range of photography skills, from studio portrait, to macro, to children. I am easy to get along with, and want nothing but the best experience for all involved.
I like to have an assistant photographer with me to ensure the wedding is shot from not just multiple angles, but also multiple views (everyone sees things differently), to get the greatest coverage.
I personally like to capture the mood and atmosphere of the event, whilst highlighting the good points of the wedding.
I Photoshop (edit) the print worthy photos, and use only the best printers available.
I will also put the photos online, in a password protected gallery, plus give you a CD of the photos.

You can also check out a gallery of some various wedding photos, and a basic price list.
Friend of mine does wedding photography as well...

What does it take to be a 3rd photographer at a wedding? I'd do it for free of course, just want to get some more experience up (here's hoping I'm better by 2009 )
It takes a friendship with the first one who's going to be confident enough in you that you'd a) be professional and b) ensure you don't get in their way.
PS. I have no idea what I'm talking about - it's just a guess.
still searching... any other suggestions??
Check out David Solm - http://www.solmphoto.com/ (warning - some nsfw material) - Great photographer and awesome bloke too, not sure if he's doing weddings these days though and (I assume) he wouldn't be cheap.
Anything wrong with the ones already mentioned?
What's the date ?
Check out my site. I'll fly over from Melbourne. Full time wedding photographers will need to know a date though, as most bookings are a yr in advance.
def ronnie. hes away (again) right now.
im looking to pick up some experience... i could tag along with him maybe.
anyways whens the wedding?
I'm in adelaide and have done one wedding as solo photographer..... would love to help out if you want.... http://katiecannphoto.cann.id.au..... doing wedding s real cheap so I can build up the experience...
