Weird fish from Africa

    A mates dad caught this on a recent trip to Africa... Sorta mixed between a Freshwater croc and Saratoga..

    Any ideas on wtf it is?? lol

    He did a trip around the globe but im sure he told me it was from the nile in africa.. o well..

    Man they get huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge lol :eek:

    yeah - seriously, look at the jaws/teeth on that thing!

    (that, and there are crocs in the nile. so. you know, whichever gets you first!)

    I concur with the above. The diamond shaped scales is a giveaway for gar type fish.

    Absolute gold, and couldn't agree more!

    The fish in that second pic is farking HUGE! I'm waiting for the 3rd pic with it up on the beach being cut open and the fishermen being pulled out of it after being swallowed whole! :lol:
