    Hey Everyone,

So I have come across a weird issue where some of our PCs are not showing their Notification Icons (Volume and Network)

I have checked the GPO and Registry Settings, and I cant see any settings

does anyone else know where these can be set, or other ways to check

Yeah that was the first place I looked

I cant see any GPOs that have the setting for the Volume and Network, although we do turn off the Action Center

    Most work fine

I had the issue on my PC, but after logging out and back in, it went away and hasnt come back (yet)

Some users constantly have the issue, but it seems very random

    (I hate random issues)

So is it user or computer, have the users with the issue log into a different machine and see if the issue follows them.

Then do the opposite, so a user who does not have the issue have them login to the machine with the issue.

    Go from there.

It doesnt follow them, but other users that log into their machine dont get the issue.

    Cached profile?

I'd just do what "power" said and rebuild the effected boxes... Assuming you've got a re-imaging/rebuilding process in place.

    Yeah we do

As far as I have seen, only people of the "new SOE" are affected, but then I am getting that information 3rd hand

Ill pass it back to the Desktop guys to reimage and see how that goes
