What amp/dac & headphones/speakers are you using?

    What amp/dac & headphone/speakers are you using?
    Sharp SD-AT1000 Class D receiver(via optical in) to my MS-1's(with Jumbo pads and HD650 re-Cable, my TWcu cable broke ;_; )
    I have upgraditis, I'll probably buy a new set of HPs or a Fostex HP-A3 next week

    Tonight it is MS-1's being fed by an AMB Gamma1 DAC and an AMB M^3 amp.

    When I feel like it I change from the MS-1's to the K702's or LCD-2's. I like the variety this set of headphones offers.

    how are the LCD 2's? are they as awesome as they are made out to be? pretty much my current dream headphone.

    To be honest the MS-1's get to about 70% of the LDC-2's for me. Though that last 30% really is worth it. They were my dream headphone for a long time as well and I am still completely stoked to have them.
    They are a bit of a hassle to wear being heavy with a fair amount of clamp force and are also hot in summer, very much worth it though.

    Burson HA-160D > Virtue One.2 > 47 Labs Lens > Sennheiser 598

    I'd like to try another DAC to see if I can get more out of the speakers. Though I'm a litte bit scared a new DAC will upset the balance and synergy.

    Computer => Presonus Firebox => Presonus Headphone Amp => AD900's

    Not too crash hot at the moment, but good enough for gaming.

    Denon DCD - 710 AE => Denon PMA - 710 AE => B&W 686

    I have an old iPod which I take the digital out from to the Denon DCD to use the DAC there for some music too.

    NI Komplete Audio 6, balanced to KRK Rokit 6 G2s. Wouldn't mind a sub, but really I need to get used to the speakers I think.

    Got a few setups for both Headphone and Speaker listening but primarily for music listening I strictly go stereo:

    Foobar/Auzentech Prelude > Optical input to Yamaha RX-V663 - Zone 2 > B&W 685

    Headphones are split between a few but most of the time it's:

    Foobar/M2Tech hiFace > Coaxial input to Meier StageDAC > Talisman T-33H amp > Beyer T1's

    BTW Snufkin, how are the LCD 3's going for you?
