It's 3:15am and I'm at work on a nightshift, halfway through a 500ml can of Mother. I don't usually drink the stuff, but i had it in my locker so why not.

Look at you loving the Tassie beer (wrong end of the state, but still, gotta start somewhere dont you).
I still think it's bullshit that mankers get tassie beers cheaper than we do down here. At least we don't send the good ones up to the mainland (get your hands on a case of Boags red or Cascaade blue ;)).
I am glad you recognise Carlton draught as the inferior product - its always a let down when travelling over there :p

Just a wine cooler today. Actually only wine, soda, and ice. Good thing is you can use cheap white wine, and it still does the trick.

Trying a nice new cider. Saw it in BWS tonight, and it looked interesting. Old Mout Cider (New Zealand made). Not a bad taste.

A mate gave me some Coopers Mild Ale so giving it a try. Mid strength, but it tastes pretty decent.

Surprisingly I'm enjoying a saison. Usually can't stand the style. Tis a "Modern Times Lomaland Bright Saison". Cheapest I've seen it here is $11 for a 4pack.

Coopers Clear is pretty good for a low-carb too. I honestly feel Coopers can't make a bad beer. :)

Anyone tried the "Little Fat Lamb" 8% brewed drinks in the 1.25L bottles?
My local independent has them 3 for $21. Cheap way to get a party started. :D

All very sugar-water, but no worse than the Kopparberg/Rekorderlig cider.
The Apple and Pear ciders are very drinkable, especially with a splash of the Hard Ginger added in. The Hard Lemon works well too.
The Berry tastes like carbonated cough syrup IMO and is to be avoided.
