Laphroig 10YO. An all time favourite.

Was better when I was shitfaced drinking it Antarctica though. Smokey whiskies go down a treat.

    Mmm, springbank.

I've been on the cheap wines lately, 2009 Murray Street Red Bike at $8 a bottle is a pretty good drop while doing some work on a lazy Saturday!

Beautiful, rich and dense with lots of dark fruits as you would expect. I snapped the cork which stopped my heart for a sec...managed to remove all trace after two transfers through a filter thank god. Drank it with 4 people with a 4 hour slow-cooked lamb shoulder. Bloody superb!

Whelp i have fallen deeper into the rabbit hole that is dark beers.

Current favourite at the moment is Founders Backwood Bastard.
What a stunning stout. Bourbon Barrel ageing adds so much complexity to an already amazing beer.

Its a shame its so goddamn expensive :(

Im pretty floored that a Cricket Pitch managed to last longer than 10 years let alone 20+!! Guessing the Cab Sav made up the bulk of the wine.

Got given a 6 pack of Coopers Extra Stout and its not bad for the price.
A bit carbonated for my liking but good none the less.

Also got a bottle of Mountain Goat Lord of the Ree's. Fantastic limited release dark beer.
