Nastro Azzuro on special for $45 at the local franchise bottle-o 2 minutes down the road?
Done deal, 2 cases, home James, and don't spare the horses.

Hey, who won the Origin the other night? (he asks... knowing the answer is inevitably going to be "QLD LOL")
I don't really give a shit, but current advertising has influenced me into believing that Handegg (in all its myriad and intricate forms, nod to miicah) and Alcohol Consumption may never be separated.

Winning this evening - visited my local Uncle Dan's and got Coopers Sparkling for $51.90 ($10.09 off) and Teeling Small Batch for $54.00 ($5.99 off).
The more you buy the more you save!!!

I found it delicious, but far too smoth. real kick of vanilla. It's great if you want something without the burn however, a real real easy drinker.

I've been drinking it since it came on shelves locally, also having a crack at the single malt and the single grain. If I could afford it as a quaffer, the single malt would be my pick.

I prefer Teeling to Jamesons, Bushmills, Tullamore Dew etc as a whiskey. I've not had Red Breast yet which is supposed to be in the upper echelon as far as Irish goes.
The single batch is 46% ABV though so take it easy :)

And there's nothing wrong with those others I mentioned, I just like the Teeling better!! Mmmm....whiskey......

I concur on this, no real scotch burn that you associate with it as a bev.

I second the single malt, at the $80ish I've gotten it for the past few times it's probably not my favourite but its a very easy drinker with a good flavour profile and goes awesome with some instant coffee over icecream. Simple and quick poor mans tiramisu

Currently drinking Mercury Hard Cider, mostly because I wanted to get shitfaced ASAP. And I swear to god the smell singed some nose hairs when I cracked it...

It's one step up from glass cleaner... :D

Man right now, I'm feelin pretty fuckin jazzed! (on my 5th). Going to be paying for it tomorrow. But fuck. They are pretty decent for what they are.

I originally went in looking for the Draught. The hard cider has been on Mainland for ages, but the draught was hard to find (and I didn't even know there was one till I went to Tassie).

Yeah I have destroyed a whole lot of the draught over the years, there's not really anything else like it. It gives me heartburn in my old age though.

That's why I started drinking Draught, cause stronbow etc was wreaking havoc on me, but the Mercury didn't.
