    And how was it? I've had the Monteiths dark beer which is excellent but not that one.

    Monteiths are always very solid, so I knew it was going to be reasonable. Not an all time favourite but very nice all the same. Will see me through the hot days of summer : )

    Went out for dinner in the new town, currently drinking some local pale ale (Yenda Pale Ale). Not bad to be honest

    Cricketers Pale Ale. $9.90 a 6 pack from dan murphys for members, such good value for money.

    Having a bentspoke IPA while reading the GABS hottest 100 craft beers. James Squire 150 lashes came in at #32...

    Apparently no one at GABS is quite sure what "craft" means.

    Yeah, they use a really hazy definition that is basically "not on an undisclosed list of obviously-not-craft brands, brewed in Australia, and not a locally licensed version of an international craft brand".

    To be fair, they wouldn't make the list if people didn't vote for them, but apparently people do.
