Great when the updates work. REALLY annoying when updates break other functions.
Also lack of app support and discontinued app support.

    Battery life
Lack of C type USB on other devices to cater for charging

Still a good upgrade after owning a Nexus 4

Still think the best phone I've ever owned, was the HTC one XL.

agree with the battery life, mines just over a year old and it struggles to last a day. Lucky they're cheapish to replace.
needs to live in a bumper otherwise I constantly smash screens. ive done it twice now, both times when its out of its silicone case when it gets hot

Nice phone, but think it might be end of the line for buying namebrand flagship models for me because I'm not seeing the value for money (phone works fine, but maybe something less expensive will do).

just put a new screen protector on my 6S - and there's one air bubble about 1cm (air line really) near the side of the phone.

tried to get rid of it all morning, god it shits me eventhough i cant really see it when the screen is on

I hate that I can't find a decent tempered glass screen protector. All the curved ones I have tried are terrible, they haven't lasted a week before they started to lift or got dust under them.

Xiaomi Mi5 (64gb, various custom roms):

    • Unstable at times.
    • Slows down to a crawl when the battery is low
    • The battery capacity is too low
    • It's too slippery without a case due to the glass back
    • No expandable memory
    • Android Pay doesn't work

Yea they're all a bit shit, but Samsung need to take responsibility for making the screen out of perfectly clear cheese. Shit's so fuckin soft the cotton fluff in my pocket started carving lines in it.

Plastic screen protectors ended up feeling and lasting better than the glass shit, after about 5 months the one I'm using let shit under the edge in a few spots. I wouldn't be as annoyed if I could find the other 2 that came in the 3 pack I bought off ebay.

Recommend this app to remove all bloat-ware easily without root: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ospolice.packagedisablerpro
    Worked great with my S7.

Also go with Google Now launcher replacement for the best vanilla experience: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.launcher

Re the S7, hate the back button being on the right instead of the left like it is for Android on-screen...

edit: Annd... I just fixed that with this app which can re-program the hard keys: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phoenixstudios.aiogestures

    Sweet

    Samsung S5 mini.
    • Can't force camera flash on: only Auto, or off.
    • Nobody has accessories for it in Australia: have to get Cases/screen covers from overseas. (Official cover useless for a South-paw like me). Hell, even Samsung took over a week just to get a flippin' battery for it.
    • Fingerprint sensor is totally fucking useless.

Other than that: now that I've solved the random battery-drain problem it's been fucking awesome (and love the 4 day battery life!):had it just under 2 years now, no intention of replacing it for the forseeable future.
