Sure, here's how it currently sits:

It's changed a bit since that earlier photo, and now the HDDS from the quoted image are in the case with the hot-swap bays.

How much of that is simply the ~30% lower wattage, I wonder.

    Cfm similar?

Finally upgraded my GPU to something modern and got a 5080. Hopefully my 5950X doesnt botleneck it.

I will have to wait for software upgrades for blackwell support sadly but oh well.

Upgraded my fans, and did a bit of rearranging. iCUE has been a real pain, for some reason it won't recognise my SPs unless I tell the lighting node that they're actually QLs, so I told it that, and now it's happy.

    Maybe iCUE is dyslexic?

iCUE is worse than that. Every update seems to break something new.

Honestly I've given up on all the RGB shit. It's even broken on my ROG Ally, has a 'smart' option so you can link the colour to CPU temp, but the software clearly has a memory leak which tanks performance and you can watch the RAM usage go up up up up up

Flashed the BIOS on my 7900xtx last night to lower the default power limits. 480w was too much, and while the card temps were fine, I was cooking sitting next to it. :D

Also finally attempted to set up fan/pump curves based on water temp to further try reduce the heat radiating from it. Needs a bit of tweaking, but hoping for silence at night, and ramp up a wee bit when gaming.

Amusingly, even after an hour of furmark the GPU was topping out at 40'C anyway, so shouldn't be hard to keep under control. lol

I find the same thing happens, and I have corsair keyboard, mouse, headphones and ram, so the settings always change. Annoying.

I have found the solution is to keep tinkering until it all works, freeze the settings by putting all the components into hardware memory mode, then close iCUE and don't open it again until you need to add something new. If you leave it in software mode, it always seems to find some new way of screwing up.

I also recommend installing a powered USB header hub, and running the fan and RGB controllers from it. Some Corsair components are very fussy about motherboard headers and voltage, particularly with AMD hardware.

New case finally rocked up (o11 evo xl).

Unfortunately you can't relocate the power supply in these models. So I cut a hole.and made room. Already seeing a few snags like interfering with the pin that holds the side panel on, but we'll deal with that later. The main thing is there's now plenty of room to shove in dual pumps and a tube res now. :D

Airflow holes in the xl are much bigger than the original evo as well. Should breathe a lot better when I'm done.

Especially with these bad boys up front for intakes. :D

The evos are also a massive improvement over the air restrictor 3000 grilles in the original XL. Can I ask why you wanted to move the psu?
