Finished setting it up. I caved and upgraded my Ally X to a Claw 8 AI. Beast of a handheld.

I seriously was under the impression that the Claw was plagued with issues. Is this not the case??

I haven’t found any, the MSI center software isn’t that great compared to armory crate but driver improvements have apparently done the world of good.

I was playing cyberpunk on it at native 1200p last night, high detail level, raytraced shadows, and XESS/framegen and it played nice at 60-70fps set to 17w.

At the same TDP as the Ally X it also plays No Man’s Sky at 1200p native at higher framerates than the Ally up scaling 900p to 1080p. And looks heaps better because FSR3 looks like balls.

I went the Intel version over the new Z2 version for many reasons, more RAM, better cooling system, but the intel chip is very underrated and apparently there’s more driver optimising to be done.

Looks like something you would see at a CES booth.

Just need to get some white sleeved cables to kick it up the the next level.

Refreshed my build into a new Meshify 3 XL. Functionally I like the case a lot, fits a 420mm aio easily as well as 10x total 140 fans. Build quality and attention to detail for the price could be better.
