What is this port?

    Is anyone able to tell me what this port is beside the SATA port, i was trying to jam my fingers in to plug a SATA cable in to test a HDD and it didn't fit, but now i can't work out what it is

    You can see in the manufacture image zoomed in that its narrower, i can't
    get a good photo myself without pulling the whole rig apart.

    ahh that explains why i have no idea what it is, did it actually get any/many devices?

    Na, i vaguelly remember it launching around the same time as M.2 and M.2 is the far superior technology for both speeds and cleanliness etc, so it never really took off. Good thing is that the 2 sata ports themselves can be used as regular sata parts if you need to rather than just 1 SATAe device.
