Hey everyone! Thought I'd open this thread to get some takes on what DPI settings and mice everyone uses. I just received my razer copperhead (won it in a comp hehe). Im finding it easier to use my old microsoft optical mouse in games, I dunno it's just easier. The razer is just too sensitive for me on anything over 800 dpi, so while im using it that's what its on :) . Still trying to get used to it in cs and dod with 4 sensitivity lol.

Well pootling around windows my G7 is on the medium setting which is 800dpi (i think), in some games i turn the sensitivity down to the lower setting which is 400? (not sure), it depends on what res the game is running.

Im sure once i upgrade monitors ill be using the full 2000dpi for desktop moement

I'm using a Micro$oft IntelliMouse Optical 1.1A (5 Buttons) with what ever the default DPI for it is...

    Awesomeness! :leet:

I was playing BF2 for a couple days with my Dad's Logitech MX1000 Laser cordless mouse with whatever its default DPI is, and its sensitivity is on a completely different level! :wired:

Wayyy to sensitive.. Changed to my InteliMouse and I could actually frag again! :p

On my G5, I use it at 1800DPI in Windows and 2000dpi in game. I like being able to just touch it and have it in the right spot, rather then having to move the mouse right over the pad to get the cursor to where I want :p

Got a Logitech mx400 Laser. Not sure what the native dpi is on it, but it seems decent enough from a few days use.

This is my mouse. I have no idea what DPI it is, I really don't care. It is by far the best mouse I have ever used for gaming. I've had my share of $100 mice, tried even more. This one is a mere $20~ and definitely enabled me to play better.
