The two projects combined about a year or two ago. Made sense to not double up on efforts with so much code crossover.

Wasted a bit of time looking through old catalogues here: https://www.gamesmen.com.au/old-catalogues

1996 was interesting in terms of pricing.
    $595 for a PS1, $699 for a Sega Saturn, $129 for a SNES (with $89 games).

I am about to rip out the KVM I've been using for a few years now on my retro bench, for some reason my Unicomp Ultra Classic doesn't like it and I frequently have to unplug and re-plug it to get it working. I can't remember the last time I actually had multiple systems set up here so I think it's time for the KVM to go.

People confuse downloading six million ROMs with owning actual games.

Like folks who call the 80s and 90s the "golden age of gaming" - only if you were a millionaire.

I used to think it was Christmas buying games for $20 each at cashies in the 90's.

    THE EARLY 90's PEOPLE!

...Ride to K-Mart, buy a game, copy game, magnet on disk, return game.

I don't know how many times we did that before they finally caught on to what we were doing!

I’ve done some tedious restoration of some Microsoft peripherals.
digital media keyboard 1.0, Office keyboard (with scroll wheel) and intellimouse optical USB.
To go with a couple of 2003-2004 builds.

Also cleaned and repasted a tonne (11) of AGP GPU’s

Finally got around to finishing the v2 design of the gun driver :)

2nd gun board completed, now I can have two player point blank action!

It's not pretty, but she works!

    The spaghetti of wires!

The top side doesn't look too bad :)

More wires! Now that it's tested, I'll try and clean it up in a project box and will attempt at making the pcbs swappable (will do a gcon and gcon2 mod, maybe at some point dc too)

    Video of it in action

Just discovered CGterm. A Commodore terminal emulator that runs under all operating systems, although I'm not too sure the latest binary release works anymore. I found a download PPA maintained by Todd Verling, downloaded the software for my Linux PC and the software works a treat with both 40 and 80 column modes of glorious PETSCII graphics! I created a couple of launchers for both 40 and 80 columns, now I can surf the BBS scene from the comfort of my main PC on one monitor while surfing the web on another. PPA link:

Total overhaul for this one. I love me some tedious peripheral restoration :) Like new again. Worth the time for one of my favorite ever keyboards.
