It is an awesome game. Was hyped as 'Western Metal Gear'. No cute anime girls here :) but plenty of sneaking.

Positives: great visuals and sound for the time, great gameplay and pacing. Awesome special operative mechanics, simple, powerful and effective (just maybe a little minimal compared to other similar games). Great worldbuilding! Kind of like a post cold war spies'n'soldiers power fantasy. I really liked the greenish interfaces, maps and the PDA where you can read stuff, receive messages, etc.

Negatives: Was pretty hard for me at times (especially the oil rig stage beginning was cryptic). And for the life of me I can't remember the plot despite the fact I beat this game twice. Something something american infiltration specialist doing something for america or world peace or maybe for his family, fighting someone totally evil, maybe even a rogue military general.

I get a bit stroppy when a lot of these US guys don't ship overseas, then complain about people "ripping off their designs" (odd when many of them are open source) in other countries.

Seems to be a very US-centric mindset of an otherwise great group of people who are generally willing to communicate openly about technical things. It just all gets a bit weird when it comes to the business side of things.

Either way, most of these RGB boards are all very similar - find RGB on the PCB, feed it to THS7374, DC couple and attenuate to video level required. Hopefully more and more of these things show up on OshPark and similar places that can deal with the shipping and volume.

    :)

I think there's three games total that allow the features you speak of. But that one is by far the most common.

I've never done the process myself. But, since we're speaking of OG XBox, does anyone know how to get 480p out of a modded PAL XBox? Is it just a case of using a US release of a game, or do other things need to be done? I can't seem to get 480p out of my console (although I don't think I've tried recently with a US game that's known to support it, so maybe I should do that).

Oooh that's where it is - I gotta set the whole thing to NTSC mode first THEN enable HD modes. I clearly didn't look hard enough. Cheers. :)

Smashing through Majora's Mask on N3DS, how good is that little c-stick?!?! So much better with it for camera controls.
