The owner wasn't there when I was (he doesn't open until 3pm), but apparently they're nuts.

There's no prices written on anything of course, because Thai barter culture.

I always wanted to go to those kind of little game shops in Japan. I remember reading about 15 years ago prices went up a little because second hand electronics needed to be tested. But apparently since then the prices have gone way, WAY higher.

Still, better than eBay I guess. Just gotta win lotto first lol

Very nice...my citrus3000psi 3DORGB mod was shipped last week (with 8 pin mini din kit) for my Panasonic 3DO FZ-10 (non Anvil lol) and I already have a Packapunch RGB SCART cable to go with it. Really looking forward to getting this installed/up and running.

Very nice, I'm still debating on RGB modding mine. Does the RGB mod add proper 240p support? With the switch sometime it doesn't line up properly and you have to flick it back and forth.

PSIO arrived so I tested this units parallel port with my old game shark to make sure it was working then dis-assembled to find PU-18 PCB (SCPH-5502).

Took a look at the guide, need to get some wire strippers and a new craft knife. This installation video shows a guy (carefully) removing solder mask with a craft knife. Anyone got suggestions for this that isn't scraping it away with a knife?

If they still offered the modification service in Australia I'd probably just pay them to do it but I've got spare PS1's and 2 switch boards so may as well have at it.

Found another shop in Pantip Pratunam, Bangkok. Have more photos, but will upload them from home later on.

i'd hate to remove solder mask with a craft knife!

    Grab one of these https://www.amazon.com.au/Fiberglas...keywords=fibreglass+pen&qid=1579567984&sr=8-1

Got a NTSC-J Nintendo 64. Considered a NTSC-J Saturn, but I don't think I'll need it once the Satiator arrives

Satiator looks to be in beta. He's got boards shipping to testers, so I reckon this year for sure. I've got a Pseudo Saturn (modded Action Replay) to tide me over until then. Just need to 60Hz mod my PAL Saturn I think (unless it's like the PS1 and just boots NTSC games in 60Hz? I'll have to check).

My wife and daughter went to a neighbouring shopping center full of clothing, fashion, shoes, etc. My son and I went to the tech building and bought nerd stuff. Fun was had by all. :)

i've booted Japanese exclusives on my Aus PAL Saturn (Daytona Circuit Edition) that has a Pseudo cart. Should check to see if it does 60Hz.

I used a fibre glass pen from Jaycar https://www.jaycar.com.au/corrosion-buster-pen/p/NA1410 a bit expensive but it works.

I had seen these used/mentioned before and defaulted to searching jaycars website and nothing came up.

Evidently I was searching for the wrong thing:
I'll probably pay the higher price just so I can go pick it up immediately.
Jaycar are like Bunnings sometimes i swear, I pay "i don't want to wait for shipping" tax frequently.
