I was in Woolworths getting some mushrooms for tonight and decided to get lunch while thereā€¦
    1 bread roll
    7 slices pastrami
    4 slices of marsdam cheese

Get to the office, slice up half a mushroom and the avocado I had, layered as follows
    Bread
    Cheese
    Pastrami
    Mushrooms
    Cheese
    Pastrami
    Avocado
    Bread

Into the press to crisp it a bit

Within 2 mins I had 9 people come in asking what that smell was :D

Chainbolt: It's home made junk food at least :)

Mmm, Choux pastry, filled with a little chocolate pastry cream like a PROPER profiteroles is meant to be. None of that whipped cream crap for me! :) At least i didn't eat all of them. Maybe...6 or so. *shame*

Do you know what's really shameful? I immediately looked for your location to see whether I could find out where you got them from and get some too.... :weirdo:

I managed to have a cup of coffee that I made and was really nice. I think I've finally found the coffee I like and which will make nice coffee from my machine.

Broccoli: I make my own profiteroles/eclairs. I couldn't find any patriesseries in Canberra that made them with a chocolate pastry cream filling. So I made them myself. :)
    Recipe for choux pastry:
    Recipe for choc pastry cream

Only special thing you need is a piping bag. They are really simple, and delicious.
Follow the recipes exactly, and it'll work perfectly. :) The choux pastry is pretty bulletproof. For better results, when it says to beat the steam out of the mix, it needs to remain quite warm, just not hot.

Sound good, unfortunately I'd only want one so making a batch wouldn't be feasible.

I have had "proper" eclairs with the chocolate custard, but I can't remember where.... Mostly they use dairy cream in them here.

Not a fan of the dairy cream.

I should mention that was 2 batches of cream, and 3 batches of pastries.
