Yeah its amazing how optusnet seems to be so slow. I guess atleast with telstra you pay alot of money for close to full speed.

I pay for 25gb extreme. Thats 99.95 a month however there are cheaper and more expensive options on the extreme plans.

Mackay dude . You should be able to get it in Townsville as most of ur exchanges should be ASDL2 enabled. Thats threw internode though...i never no idea who else offers naked...i dont think many do .

I'm not overly impressed with it..i reckon i got better connection on a 8mbit adsl1 plan down toowoomba. Been thinking about trying and getting a phone line and trying out the "ADSL TWO PLUS" plan my mate on..see if i got an better and my stable connection. The VOIP..meh, cheap as yes, but i get crackerly threw the line sumtimes and randoms dropouts.. I get that frustrated with it sumtimes..just about to ring node..then my internet/voip works perfectly for that week ..so i dont bother :p.

Bah. No 'node DSLAMS in the greater Townsville area. (No HFC for that matter either) All I can get is the massively overpriced Tel$tra resold TwoPlus.
