More interesting than a bargain, but rare to see a Cyrix III Socket 370 system in the wild! https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/303544340637 Actually not a bad system with two ISA slots, a Geforce 2MX and a SCSI CD-R, but not worth $140 especially since it doesn't boot. The Cyrix badged VIA C3 was also more an oddity than a powerhouse...
Very nice looking PIII system in Sydney, $179 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Vintage-Tower-PC-Pentium-III-450-128mb-10gb-hd-SB-Live-Win98SE-games This is from that techforaging guy with the Youtube channel. I'm sure he had this listed previously as an empty case. Looks like he's changed his mind and put a build together.
i went to retro eddies today for a bit of a scratch and sniff. thinking about it now i should of taken a photo or two, but they had a couple of items that may be of interest to someone a sega master system 1 in a box. the box is average but the unit looks mint. i think it was tagged $169 a commodore plus 4 that looked in good condition too i think it was 139 bucks ??? anyway if anyone wants more details and pics ill try to swing past in the next couple of days. this time pics
Similar offer. Is anyone into Flight Simulator 2004 or X? There's a little junk shop I drive past every week with a little shelf of games. There are about half a dozen aircraft and terrain expansions there. I don't think they're particularly rare or valuable, but I don't generally run across them in the wild so I wondered if anyone was interested. Looks like an old sim nut has dumped their wares there, and it would be nice for them to go to another one. They sell their discs for $5 or $10 a pop. Similar stuff looks to be $15+ on ebay. Can grab pics on the next visit, or even pick them up for anyone interested. This is the joint: https://the-everything-shop.business.site/

Oh yea, if you can pick it up, desktop case; https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/rare-vintage-computer-low-profile-black-case-power-supply-drives-retro-gaming/303525622491?_trkparms=aid=1110006&algo=HOMESPLICE.SIM&ao=1&asc=20190212102350&meid=9780402cb3554105aeeea2b1f4e772f1&pid=100012&rk=3&rkt=12&sd=124153124853&itm=303525622491&pmt=1&noa=0&pg=2047675&algv=SimplAMLv5PairwiseWeb&_trksid=p2047675.c100012.m1985
Introducing the remedy to tinyurl, www.thisisafuckinghugeurloksojustgoaheadandgetoveritasinbuildabridgeyknowwhatimsaying.com/...................................
It's only one link and you don't need to click on every character. If anything it's easier and you know where it's going unlike tinyurl where it could be just a rick roll, you don't know.
I was only joking. I don't /really/ care what url formats people post. But since we're knobbing on about it. Ordinarily, just myself, I would normally take the moment to cut back this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/rare-vintage-computer-low-profile-black-case-power-supply-drives-retro-gaming/303525622491?_trkparms=aid=1110006&algo=HOMESPLICE.SIM&ao=1&asc=20190212102350&meid=9780402cb3554105aeeea2b1f4e772f1&pid=100012&rk=3&rkt=12&sd=124153124853&itm=303525622491&pmt=1&noa=0&pg=2047675&algv=SimplAMLv5PairwiseWeb&_trksid=p2047675.c100012.m1985 To this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/rare-vi...power-supply-drives-retro-gaming/303525622491 Merely on the principle that the personalised additions included in your full URL can sometimes expose personal information and such. But look end of the day that's 3 seconds per time you've saved and I haven't, for something that's usually not an issue, and certainly not in this case as far as I can see. So caresies are pretty much F all for everyone, as they should be. I just get into Joke Around mode sometimes, aka on a regular basis. <return verbosity to an appropriately lower level>
It's OK, I agree Reaper is the devil for not TinyURLing it, so here it is for anyone else offended by his laziness : https://tinyurl.com/4poyc6x
IBM (listed as XT but I believe it's an AT) $150, Bankstown NSW. Wish I could justify it, I'd be out there at dawn. https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/sefton/other-computers-software/vintage-ibm-pc-xt-1980s/1246438089
Damn, really? I keep thinking a road trip of sorts would be the go, but yea, my digitally sociable side is unsociable. Nah, just lazy.
An amazing looking IBM 286 here - 'make an offer' is available so might be worth a shot. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/IBM-PS-...541157?hash=item3426d12925:g:mnQAAOSwBORepPOC
