Bit of late notice on this one (2hrs). Some cardboard boxes from a deceased estate in West Ryde Sydney. It's not itemised but there is boxed software, and 3.5" & 5.5" drives and media. No one's bitten at the $50 opening bid, and it sounds as if it's going to the bin if not sold. That would be a shame.

[edit] Someone grabbed it. I'll sleep better tonight.

What is it with dr.ians_junque? Has he cornered the retro market in Melbourne??

I swear anything good I see posted here on or in my own searches lately is in his eBay shop! :D

Also the fact it's in Melbourne. Everything is pick up only in the butt end of Victoria.

Just looked. There's currently 2 CD32's on there. 1 for $1250 instant, and 1 for ongoing auction ends Saturday, currently up to $205 with 46 interested parties watching it. Guess it probably won't end up being cheap by closing time.

That's the prob here, the whole country watches trademe, so chances of sneaking in and scooping up an unseen bargain are rare.

The penny dropped tonight. I suspect that's the Ian that is the admin of this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/AusVintage/

I lurked there for a short while last year, and saw him post photos of his car rammed with beige boxes that he had driven far and wide to collect. He said it was his living now.

Bunch of old EDO or something (didn't look too closely) for $50.

    80287 coprocessor for $90 : https://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/vintage/listing-2615077013.htm

Not necessarily bargains, I'm just chucking in here things that catch my eye.

Note if any regular retroers ever really want/need any of this nz/trademe stuff, I can work as a shipping middleman or whatever.

Need to change the title of this thread to: Interesting retro stuff for sale

Does this count? New old stock Socket A MSI KT6V-LSR motherboard, KT600 chipset (VIA's nForce2 equivalent, more or less). Southbridge integrated SATA which was novel at the time.

    $75pp: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/174222028189

Nah, need to make that another thread and actually post bargains here instead of all this expensive stuff and stuff we can't buy from NZ.

75 bucks isn't expensive to BuuBox and I, we're wealthy (and handsome). I'd change the title and be thankful that peeps take the time to post anything at all.
