That's the case that my parents got their first computer in! That's a big nostaliga hit for me

I think there was a huge bank of jumpers on the back to change the turbo/normal clock speed numbers. I don't think the time(r) ever ran right..

I love that superficial 90’s ‘functionality’ and that case takes the cake

Some potentially cheapish S7/Slot1 stuff on ebay, though there could be some funny business...
    Pentium 200mmx cpu/unknown mobo/8MB RAM. 3 days left, currently@$20.50

    Haxman ideas_man69

Same seller with an AT slot 1 motherboard, celly 266, 32MB RAM. Same time left, $21.50 currently
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/144170092374

Interestingly enough, both are currently being led by the same person, who has 0 feedback...

And all 11 bids across 10 items that this guy has placed in the last 30 days are from the same seller. Totally not a shill bidder...Where's Karl Jobst when you need him?

Here's a bit of a rarity. Turtle Beach Tahiti sound card, $50 in the Gong https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/872561070359515

These are more DAW than gaming cards. No Adlib/FM. There is a wavetable header but it's on a weird port, meaning limited game support. High quality digital audio is their thing.

I like how he says "I used it couple time then switched to windows 10." Feels like there's at least 20 years missing from that story.

Well to be fair is he from the Gong. The last 20 years have probably been a bit of a blur. :tired:

Found a great little hidden gem today, Nucleus Computer Services P/L in Melbourne. Went in to pickup a laptop charger for my Pentium 1 NEC and walked out with 3x 3dfx voodoo 3’s and a Hercules 3D prophet mx440. He has a lot of old stuff in stock but is a older guy so can get a little impatient / grumpy. Good luck!
