Well enjoy your $15 "double breast fillet" burger that actually includes one tiny breast cut down the middle.

I don't live in Adelaide but I've lived in Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney and have never had any problem finding a $15 burger that would make anything from Nando's cower behind a bar stool in shame. Maybe you should refine your palate or better yet, seek out something better? ;)

Just got back from IGA, some decent specials going on and I had a win idea, so I stocked up on all my burger essentials.

Purchased 1.8kg of chicken breast @$6.99/kg
450g of Bacon @ $12.99 k/g (not that cheap but meh).
    1kg of tomatoes @ $1.99/kg
    1kg of onions @ 0.99/kg
    1 lettuce @ 0.99
    a few rolls @ 0.60 each.

    Grand total = $24.15.

Total double chicken burgers I think I can make = 5 or so.

    5 x 17.65 = 88.25.

    88.25 - 24.15 = 64.1

    Muhahahha

Ps, gonna use this peri peri sauce

Add mayo and some form of tomato chutney as well, then take pictures of the masterpiece.

Will construct some burgers tomorrow if time allows. Couldn't be bothered this evening.
