    Which there is NO cure.

I'm going for the VII Hero as well, very nice VRMs and the mainboard isn't too cutesy or banal, filled with useless RGB leds.

Serious hardware for the fanatics that want to fry their Ryzen's - indefinitely ;).

If that was an ASUS board, Defyant would be so there right now. Just sayin'. ;)

I spent longer that I would like to mention trying to get the memory to work at this setting, only to realise that there was a bug on the v1.20 release bios which didn't save the vdimm voltage :tired:. Updating to 1.37A fixed everything. That is using only mildly tweaked Ryzen Calculator 'Extreme' B-Die timings @ 1.5v (my limit) pretty stoked with the result.

Haha, basically the only difference is that it has integrated 10GbE, it was ~ $400 + $60 post from the US. Locally the standard Taichi is about $340, so it cost me about $120 more for that feature in the end. A standalone 10GbE NIC is about $170 locally, but with my two GPU's I don't have the room for it, which is why I needed it integrated (which makes this board perfect for me).

I personally just purchased a 2700X and GB Gaming 7 Wifi due to the number of USB ports at the back and the internal headers. It supports USB-C at the back as well as a header for the front (perfect for my pixel). When Oculus is plugged in, my racing wheel and all my other USB related things, I really didn't want to have to buy a board AND a hub. So my selection was more out of convenience.

When I build it up (next week)I'll feedback what I think of it.

But only stock cooling skitz
So much coin on gear, surely another 200 on a big arse noctura would be money well spent?

I'm just having a bit of fun with lights at the moment, plus the stock clocks on the 2700X and cooler are pretty impressive. Simple air cooling is almost a novelty for me after being on water since my 3770K.

I do have this, I'm becoming pretty keen to play around with Precision Boost Overdrive so I will likely end up putting it back on and plunge my system back into darkness.

That's how it was set up with my old board and CPU
(normally I only have the temperature indicator LEDs on the gpu's and that's it, but if that were the case you wouldn't be able to see a thing in the picture).

Thy'r all good man, i just don't like the silly gears ... what where they thinking... but the board itself has some merit.

If he's willing to pay and wants the best of the best the CH7 is undeniable.

[H] just did a pretty hard review on the CH7 here.
