Oh really, this is in the standard curriculum is it?

OK please point to the part of the brain that standard psychology curriculum defines as being the "right and wrong centre".

The St George banks internet banking site was originally built completely in Java, same with the NAB site. Most of the internet banking sites have swapped over to more secure server side technologies now.

But you do get to some UI screens written in Java... on lots of older Cisco devices, the Cisco SDM (?) console client is written entirely in Java.

I found a screenshot on the web of the Cisco SDM:

The root cause of poor production performance that does not meet the SLA is usually celebrity programmers who are not well versed in the sewage work of the runtime environment. ;)

Worst part is the fact that 99.9% of the examples don't %^$%$ work under the current version of Moonlight in Linux.

So I can't bloody see them.

The deep zoom stuff i've seen in silverlight absolutely rapes anything ive ever seen in Flash.

The only public thing using it tho is:

    http://memorabilia.hardrock.com/

But the demo stuff i saw from MS showed a area where they took heaps of photos in a circle and it generated like a 3d photograph which had deep zooming.

I saw that demo, was amazing but I thought it wasn't silverlight, unless it's a different one.

i'd love to check out that hard rock site, but everytime I install silverlight on ff, it continues to tell me that I don't have it. Sigh.

just reinstalled it on IE and it seems to be working, pretty sweet.

Does silverlight code get indexed any better by google? or is it just like flash..
