What happens now...?
BAWHAHAHAHAHAHA ... timing is perfect.
Looks like they culled it earlier as I was considering upgrading out Win 7 Intel NUC tonight but at 10pm it had already ended.
Ahh well, there was stuff all advantage to upgrading it anyway as I only use the desktop icons on it.
Currently 82% complete...
Just another problem I don't need.
Upgraded HP Pavilion 10 Touchsmart notebook used by my mum.
Installation went ok.
Now my password won't work and I can't log in.
Now I know why they're giving it away for free.
Why on earth would windows now pop up just yesterday with a windows asking me if I want to upgrade to windows 10 when I'm already on Windows 10
I wonder if next Patch Tuesday they'll piss off what is (now) a useless icon on my taskbar!!!
aaaaand W10 just got even more vile.
Edit: added another link
Yup, posted about those on the previous page. Not impressed
installed win10 yesterday on a Samsung 512GB SSD, 950 PRO Series, m.2 (PCIE) .......this morning on starting up getting Win 10 detected errors on hard drive and scanned and fixed errors on "C" drive
now its a new drive on a new system with the only thing reused is a couple of SSD's
So is it the drive or Windows.....any clue on where to start finding out what caused this ?
anniversary update is tomorrow.
It's unlikely it's windows, maybe use an SSD health tool? Could be a faulty drive
maybe get the samsung drivers?
so is the anniversary update ready yet or we have to wait another day
Do y'reckon MS work on AU clocks or US western Pacific time?
There is an ISO up on the volume licensing site. Running a test build now through my task sequence.
Regarding the anniversary update......
nice to get it on the day though.
