So, like, almost everyone. You've worked in a corporate office, right?

Key word: "advanced". You, sir, are not the target audience.

Bell curves are fun until they're not. Welcome to being an outlier.

    Unfortunately
And yes things like that totally make sense in an office/corp environment, which i agree with your earlier statement, that is where the money is....

looks like Microsoft won’t stop you installing Windows 11 on older PCs :) they've eased off a bit

Seems like whoever is running this is angry at PC Users and saying stupid things "Microsoft has since told The Verge that unsupported PCs won’t be entitled to receive Windows Updates, and that even security and driver updates may be withheld."

It wasn't going to change anything anyway, there are already TPM hacks for Windows 11 which have the updates, at this point they are just trying to avoid looking stupid by reverting their policy. They won't actually go through with the no update policy, they just don't want to feel like they lost.

I think they may have fixed the Radeon driver update thingy in the latest build. I downloaded the latest 22000 ISO from Microsoft and it doesn't appear to be overwriting my Radeon drivers.

Is Windows 11 coming with Game Pass by default, or is it still a pay model? That video is confusing. From face value it looks like game pass comes with Windows 11?

Is there anyway of becoming an 'early adopter'? Can I force update to the beta right now, and then just transition to the full release in October?

You wouldn't anyway. You would do a clean install. No way you'd do an in-place upgrade over a beta.

It's irrational to suggest a fault in a beta product is an excuse to go back to a production product
