How is your memory on clocking Slot A's ? Wonder if 3K is possible

Board only has mem tweaking. Matrox clock tool is fail.
Assume I need to run win98 & not xp for that to work.
All gpu-z not see the matrox.
    Giga ga-7ix...... 800mhz pluto ........matrox 450

Have a 75751 score up on hwbot Matty for the 790i combo.
4.1GHZ no boost on rams or gpu. Got a flyer here man. :)

Bloody good fun this board matey.

I've had to back down to 4GHZ. The cpu block " old style thermaltake "
does not have enough cooling performance. LoL 50deg idles earlier

Fine tuning the V core, it's above 1.41v anyways to be stable.
    Boost on a gpu " assumed rubbish " 76K
The most budget XMS3 corsair rams running under spec, so that will
be fun later when I drop in a hardcore set. But yeah 80K with sli I'd say.....

I'll be back in this thread soon, putting together a "one last time rig" for a few subzero overclocks and benchies to please shane and conquer atmo.

Trying to persuade a bloke I know from years back before atmo was born to lend me his ln2 kingpin pot for cpu and gpu, we'll see what a 5ghz c2d can do.

Haha poor Atmo..........he's in the cave plotting revenge

Hey not really sporting though going 5Ghz+ frozen.....after all the idea is efficiency NOT brute force it over the line
    __________

Other news ....... dropped the 790i back to 4ghz so I could concentrate onwhat makes these x7 tests tick
It's no7 test each time. I can duplicate or better my efforts on the other x6 tests. BUT if you are a tiny bit unstable before you get to no7
test & that can be some time it does hurt that no7 Nature score :thumbdn: That has a big impact in the end!

I have a 7900GTX on the way, if it works and I can get it running under 98SE it should beat my previous best in that OS.

LoL you are such a cruel bugger. I must meet you one day.

We did romp away with the thread though ....... as Win98 was such a PIA
messing with modern hardware. ie Too bloody time consuming :tired:
    ___________

I don't ever underestimate him man...... I'm sure he could serve a good flogging if he was so inclined :Paranoid:

Back then first 10 pages........only just got him on the 775
& the 462 board mine had a strong clocker in that socket.

What's changed  not all that much ..... a little more experience on the tuning.

XFX, but if memory serves me correctly all the 7900GTX's were a reference design. I'll post pics when it arrives.

Big mistake. I've seen some mild OC versions hit 100 euro in England.

One of the black shroud 8800 Ultra's can go to a new home mathew ;)
Just have to wait on this one & see how she runs :weirdo: Man I love the artwork.
