I've looked around for some info about Dual video cards under Windows 98, but all the links i've clicked on seem to contradict each other.

Is it possable to have two video cards in windows, AND be able to set a particular program to use a particular screen AND set different backgrounds for each screen?

    Thanks for any help.

ok, yes it is possible to have dual monitors
but you cant set different backgrounds, well i never was able to

and you can set your primary monitor and everything and you can move programs over onto the other side

Dual monitors has been supported since win98.

I find Winxp to handle dual monitors best.

Ultramon is the program you need to do the different backgrounds, multiple taskbars, etc.

I would agree with ya happygilmore. :) Dual monitors in XP I have also found to work the best.

Thanks. Looks like i'm gonna get a copy of Ultramon then :)

As for XP, stuck at 98 unfortunately. Too damn expensive to upgrade :(
