I'm wanting to run an application made for Windows CE on a Windows Mobile powered PDA. Doesn't anyone know if CE apps can run in Mobile?

I'm a .Net developer but until now I have had no interest in CE or Windows Mobile. That has changed and I need to get up to speed. What percentage of the market do you guys think that Windows Mobile will get when up against juggernauts like the iPhone and Blackberry ?

Believe Windows CE is a cut down version of Windows Mobile (i.e. there are hardware requirements for devices made to run WM such as screen res bla bla however no such requirements exist, or they are few and far inbetween for WCE) so I image most apps which were developed for CE should run on WM, but possibly not the other way around.

Why dont you download the Windows CE trial from MS?

That said, I'm certain they are more or less the same thing. Mobile is CE with a few extras added.
