True, but why the fuck aren't you using WSUS to control this shit so it just automagically overwrites the dodgy patch once the new one gets pushed?

I find re-released updates hit and miss when it comes to updating clients, so while the WSUS server carries the latest GOOD patch, a client that has been patched with the bad patch, thinks it's already got it, then you end up wusa'ing the bad patch away, and it finds and installed the good one.

Not happy with Redhat showing them up by having RCE via DHCP, Microsoft have responded with RCE via DNS Request. - https://portal.msrc.microsoft.com/en-US/security-guidance/advisory/CVE-2018-8225
RCE in http.sys could also lead to RCE, so any internet facing webservers should be patched as a matter of urgency. - https://portal.msrc.microsoft.com/en-US/security-guidance/advisory/CVE-2018-8231

As with all patches from now forward, if you've not been keeping up, you'll probably break your NIC's and RDP when you pull trigger, so just be aware of it.

We had feedback that the thing we were having issues with was resolved in the June Patches.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
