Its finally out, get downloading
Links don't work....
Should be fixed now.
Installed and no problems so far.
Hmm.. i might wait for final realease. Thanks for the heads up though.
Second that, I'll wait till they iron MOST of the bugs
Thanks for that lowdog, will give it a shot and see how it goes
LOL m8, Vista was released how long ago now?....a couple of years and their still fixing bugs in the os so whats the difference.
Be interested to see this gaming performance increase
Try it and see if general gaming stability has been improved. I don't know, I just thought I'd give it a whirl. I'll play some games later and see if I notice anything different.
Thanks for the links, might give it a go later
does this fix the vista network copy and media bug? I cant stand that. Its the only reason im not using vista.
Network transfer speeds were fixed in Vista SP1.
It is better but still not great.
until you play media.
theres a fix for the media bug, but you have to edit a few things manually. Fairly simple however...
some people are brave beta OS? no thanks, the release versions are buggy enough.
I think you'll find that there'll be hardly any difference, if any, between this public beta and the final release.
I think that anyone who uses their machine for real work in a production capability would be wise to wait until the official release, and not play guinea pig.
but i love beta
i,m using it now on my main machine and i,m goign to try it on my others including the laptop.
on this one seems good so far...boot times are reduced by quite a bit for starters.
Don't really see the point in downloading a beta of a service pack. I'll wait for the final release.
