I need to Hide or Password protect a partiton, I have WinXp and the partition is a F.A.T.. Is there a feature in winxp to do this or a 3rd party utility?
I don't want to convert the partition to NTFS either. So if someone can point me in the right direction that would be cool thx.

not sure if you can do it in winxp. but partition magic i think will allow you to hide partitions

Without changing to NTFS I think you are going to have to use some third party software like Partition Magic or one of the many others available.

there is a program called magic folders which does what you want
you can hide dirs or even whole drives ( partitions).... i THINK it works in winxp now.. do a google search... there is magic folders and encrypted magic folders.... its very good. in the old version if you forget the pass you wont get the hidden stuff back hehe, so dont forget :p
