" The splendid new line of Wolfenstein first-person shooters from MachineGames will continue next year with Wolfenstein: Youngblood, a cooperative game starring BJ Blazkowicz’s twin daughters. It’s set in 1980, see, 19 years after Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Would you be surprised to hear that the twins are also very keen on shooting Nazis? Meet ’em in the game’s announcement trailer. "

“Wolfenstein: Youngblood introduces the next Blazkowicz generation to the fight against the Nazis,” Bethesda explain. “Play as one of BJ’s twin daughters, Jess and Soph, as you search for your missing father in Nazi-occupied Paris.”

That’s all they have to say and show right now. I imagine they’ll have more to say during E3, and certainly during QuakeCon in August.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is slated to launch some time in 2019.

It'd be especially nice if everything in the game actually works.

But based on the issue I am having with the Gunslinger Joe level game at the moment, I'm not optimistic.

And when I say "I'm having" I mean "Almost everyone who own the game is having"

Looks underwhelming, just like New Dawn was.

wolfenstein meets far cry blood dragon maybe?

EDIT: it's set in the 80s with the 80s aesthetic that we know of... though that's seems a bit anachronistic.

so for an extra $20 you can have a buddy pass to let a friend play.... is it like the same deal as 'A Way Out'?

I'm not paying $20 extra for anything.

I love the Wolfenstein games but the massive issue with the Gunslinger Joe add on has really put me off the likelihood of buying future instalments. And then this video has put me off even further...

    Shame.

It reminded me of Bethesdas E3 presentation last year, trying to be hip and cool by swearing on stage.... This just looks bad.

I honestly wanted to like the new colossus but it kinda sucked...hard. I don't see this being any better.

I guess the main thing I don't like is that anything ok BJ does now means he doesn't beat the Nazis.

Clearly the Nazis are still going into the 80's.
