    I'd be tempted,
Geez I've run into some troubles, for 1 the Enermax Vegas Duo's which I'm using (6 of) for the rads, have about .5 of a mm clearance between the fan tips and the circuits surrounding the housing, screwed em' in and they knocked or wouldn't spin at all because they had pressure from the fan beside them...FFS!
Got them working now though -

comes out yellow and orange in photo but these babies are soo RED! & Blue if you like

As you said B4 cable management is "interesting" but I reckon I'll have most of it subdued

Soo many things to do, slowly trying to replace every single LED with RED.

Considering the simplest possible, free flowing water loop.

Cutting bays to fit the Extended ATX, believe it or not things can get tight.

    Spay painting,

and I havent even got serious about cable management.

Oh and if Creekin's watching - I expect a slap, sry M8, but I'll just take it on the chin.

Will need a couple more fittings from PCCG, lovin' the Bitspower Compression fittings

A single Phobya Nano 1500rpm Red Led for the drive bay, nice fan - only $15 from the Koolroom

And mounted the OCZ 120 Vertex2 and WD Black 1TB in the bay

Fixed the threads on the XSPC Res, seems there are a few users that have had trouble with the threads...

No offence intended but if I was you I would of attempted to mod the Stacker and fit it in ;)

Good luck though, I know your not the only one who was burnt by the Sandybridge, I saw the warning signs not long after it was released and avoided it as a precaution :(

soo jealous of your mma :D

    +1
anything with that much hype can't be good! :p
it's 1st rev of 2nd gen tech, still too early to jump on the bandwagon for me. Having said that, i see no issue with a "potential" 5% failure rate on sataII over 3 yrs. who on ocau keeps a mobo THAT long!

    Water!

Now I am wondering what to put in it. I would rather not use a Dye, so I picked up some Castrol Radiator Corrosion Inhibitor (Boron 2.2% Ethylene glycol 45% with 10mg/kg of Denatonum Benzoate). The tubing is Primochil PVC. Trying to research whats best. The water is Demineralized and everything in the loop is either Brass (rads) or Zinc/Pure silver coated Brass/Copper.

Any brainstorms? As I don't wont to put this castrol in and find it eats PVC,etc
Oh and I have 2x bottles Swiftech HydrX which has served me well in the past though it's green dye.

I run distilled water and silver mate, nothing will grow, you can get 99.9% coils from the jeweler or Thekoolroom has them

Cheers Woot, I should have said, there are 9 x Bitspower True Silver Compression Fittings.
My concern is freezing, my "Den" in winter can get to -10, my last loop ran ethylene glycol with the HD5970 @ zero degree's at startup..... But I have just read it may eat the Acrylic glue ...

what could I use I wonder, besides an electric blanket?

    1. Move
    2. Don't turn it off after May!

    i'm against additives in general
    silver fittings ftw :D
but if i was worried i would put a SMALL amount of expensive quality car or bike anti freeze

    edit:
it would have to be off for a while overnight to "Freeze"
just dont shut it down at night :)

Look forward to it, would love to see another, there are so many options  no 2 would ever be remotely similar

    Dear Sweat Baby Jesus

You would not believe the frustrations I've had building this colossal Obelisk !!

I will openly invite any sensible OCAUer's in for a few beer's if your passing through Armidale, just so I can show it off and "Re Live" the God Forsaken Ball Grinding agony I've been through putting this together - I'm a bit of a perfectionist (anal retentive)

So thanks guys - very much

Creekin the theremochill's are the old PA series G3/8 and I didn't see any Compression fittings (found G3.8's in Koolroom) till later. The flow meter & fittings doesn't exactly match the space between the 2 rads (was amazed it was so close) so a little bend with tube and it fits.

Flow is read on the Asus Mobo cpu fan header and in Windows on Asus center + water temp probe :D
