It wasn't a walk in the park, it reminded me of original Vanilla where you had to work together as a team, communicate and control everything.

I was a hunter in this stress test and got as far as i know the only wind serpent pet on the server. It was an awesome tanky pet with a ranged attack with no cooldown and ate mage food

Mobs are elites, levels 17 to 21. so at level 15 it's a great challenge.

task 1 is to farm the turtle kresh for his blue shield drop with +4 defense. great armour and 9 block value. It really helps for the rest of the instance.

so you reset the instance and farm kresh until the blue shield drops, then you can go onto the rest of the dungeon.

 

Yeah but do I need both downloaded? I have nothing installed right now.

 

You shouldn't. Classic is basically going to be sharing the subscription.

 

What's the go with the game being available to download and play now?

Is it still in the stress test phase?

The stress testing servers seem to be purely that. I logged on the other night, and the available Oceanic server is "Swamp of Sorrows", which is not one of what Blizz is reserving for us.

I played an enhancement orc shaman back in the day (2H windfury ftw!!!!) but had to respec resto to get a look in for raids... very fond memories.

Being able to downrank spells again would be fun!

 

Only stress test avail till tonight (prob shutdown with server shutdown)

Then name res will be at 8am tomorrow, and then launch on the 27th.

yes, down-ranking spells is great when you're super low on mana but need a slow effect or something like that rather than the damage.

You see Vanilla is where the game is at. Every class is good and bad in areas and it's up to the individual to work with it and make those weaknesses into strengths, or do something unexpected to keep yourself alive in world PVP, great times.

 

I had (minimum) 3 ranks of greater heal on my bars. Dunno why blizz thought getting rid of spell ranks was a good idea.

 

They dumbed it down so much that there was no finess, no tuning, no individuality, nothing to seperate one class from another...

they watered the game down so much

 

I used to do so many lowbie WC runthroughs on my mage with level 1 arcane explosion It was the best being able to round up the entire instance haha

 

thanks to bliz only allocating us 1 pvp server and the majority of the ppl i play with play alliance. ill be alliance, sorry to those I was looking forward to playing with on horde.

Name res tomorrow morning, then 2 weeks of waiting (well not really.. end of trimester assignments for my masters are literally killing me atm)

Got my name on both OCE realms and an extra alt on the PVP realm.

Was a bit of a shit show to begin with but was expected.

 

Logged on at 8.08am and it took about 2 mins sitting at logging into server screen but got there and got 3 names straight away
