Yeah, and when you put the mouse over " enter world " it says it will be available in 300 hours haha
Since I've not playing wow in a longtime, I'm wondering what addons people are going to be using for classic?
I've got the following working on the reserving name logon screen.
Just the hunter timer for standing still and moving at the right moments between shots ect: as it will take time to get used to each weapon change as i level.
Other than that. Nothing.
I can't live without Titan Panel.
Just for fun, I've done some voice over tests. My sample dialogue is the opening of the original WoW trailer, which the dialogue and the trailer I've been captivated by since its launch, and I like to recite it.
1st one is a deep American voice.
2nd one is the same, but with a hint of sounding a little worn out.
3rd is plain, and is in fact my normal accent.
Let me know what you think.
Since I can't play my original toon as she was a BC race /class combo I don't care about my name. I am curious though how many people here tried to reserve their name and missed out on it?
Worth playing this for someone new to WoW? I feel like I'll be the only one not knowing how to play.
During the WoW early days I was too busy playing Guild Wars 1 :')
Nostalgia types or people who like playing challenging old games with social community will appreciate it.
The graphics are old and heavily dated, the learning curve is complex, it will take a long time to travel anywhere and the difficulty is challenging. You will need to play and communicate with others to complete large sections of content. If this is you, then go for it.
WoW classic requires a full WoW subscription, so you can also play WoW Retail and all content up to level 110/end of the last expansion.
The biggest problem with WoW in the early days for me was how restricted it was. Once I realised that most of the Warcraft II/III lore was being held back for expansions I lost interest pretty quickly.
I know the game has hardcore fans, but I'll be interested to see how many really put a lot of time into this.
That irked me a bit too. However, Wrath of the Lich King and its linkages with The Frozen Throne expansion for Warcraft III was absolutely epic in my opinion, and probably the peak lorewise.
Finding Muradin in Storm Peaks was probably one of my favourite parts. Do love dwarves.
Man, I can't decide how much time I'm going to take off for this. I really want to duo at least till 30... and have two potential shamans to level with, both showing interest, but no commitment from either yet. It is a bit frustrating to be this close and not have the basics sorted
Just curious, are we going to share our character names next week and have a bit of an informal ocau group and level up quest ect ?
How many other people are planning on playing on the PvE server because they don't have the time to deal with griefers/world PVP anymore?
I'm going to be so far behind in regards to leveling, but that is alright with me. I may have some trouble getting some of the elite quests done, depending on how quickly people move through the content, but really I'll be fine farming / grinding / dungeoning my way to 60.
Don't be a pussy
PvE for this casual scrub.
PS - Also playing Alliance instead of Horde, so even bigger pussy pants on this time.
ALSO - anyone running classic on Linux? Do you need the Battlenet App or can you just launch the old way and run a Win10 VM for updates?
If you get killed a few times, jump on an alt for 15-20mins and they've pissed off by then most of the time.
NFI why you're "stressing" about that.
Oh the shame, how can you sleep at night.
Horde or GTFO
And a Gnome mage... oh the shame.... *blink* *blink*
What is it about WoW that sends people batshit crazy?
