The joys of a pvp server.

Anyways for me first attempt at a large scale gold farm is working well, xfered a toon from Rem to Pagle loaded with arcanite bars, sold them at a significant profit, now brought ingots and forors back to sell back on rem. So far so good, all up it should net around 50k pure profit from 68 bucks in xfer cost.

I did SM Cath run on my tank warrior.
We managed to kill Whitemane just as she silenced the group, which prevented her from being able to rez Mograine... consequently we did not get kill credit for Mograine, nor could we loot his body.
I was really wanting the quest sword :(

So, it's coming?? Or at least, being talked about?

Pros - TBC really tidied up a lot of things for professions (no more 10000 hours per week farming for 1 boss attempt), questing (much more streamlined), raiding/dungeons (25m/10m), etc. Refined PvP as well (Not balanced, but refined). It easy to see how these refinements cleaned up everything to lead to WotLK, seen by pretty much everyone as the peak of WoW. Also, Illidan.

Cons (for some) - Jesus fuck if you didn't know what you're doing with your class, you were going to fucking destoyed. Attunement questlines (which I loved) meant your alts were going to be left way, WAY behind. And it was fucking hard - not like Classic (pre-Naxx), where you just trying to figure out what the game was all about. This was "holy fuck, I've put my testicles in a nutcracker and its fucking destroyed me" hard.

    CAN'T. FUCKING. WAIT.

So there's a queue on arugal right now of 500 people or so, dunno if it's from capacity or issues with blizzards servers, interesting tho for a sunday night

One of the biggest cons with TBC was the removal of the Vanilla honour ranks.

Yep. I'm prone to not playing for days on end. Not a boredom thing, just randomly lose motivation.

Really up to you to decide if it's worth playing, tonnes of people are still playing it and enjoying it .

Did you enjoy WoW back then? If so it is a nice blast from the past, but if you are anything like me you'll quit shortly after hitting 60 because it feels like only "hardcore" players are still playing.
