    I've moved house 11 times since 2004 :'(

moving for uni/school, moved because of roommates( fuck roommates who decide every 6 months for 2 years that they want to move ) , moved because house was being demolished, moved because landlord hated me working on my car on the property. ( no i didn't destroy the property )

amongst all that my G15 original is long gone, i had one for wow back in the day. :'( EB Games had a special on, i think i got it for about $80 brand new, and a short while after that they were 120-150 and even went to 170 before the released the new one with not as many G-Keys.

    Bleh.

I think even the logitech G15 is a bit too modern for classic wow, this was my old setup, logitech elite and mx510, will be sitting in a box in the garage somewhere. If you really want to re-create those memories better also find an old 17" CRT screen haha. I remember LCDs were available but not common until a few years later.

I was on a 19 inch CRT at the time, and then bought a 19 inch lcd

I have been using a G510 for many years now, WoW retail still supports the screen as does GW2.
But I use it primarily for real time CPU/Memory/Network throughput + date and time.

I just realised I wasn't opted into the beta, it's a separate tick box. Just added myself.

I just read somewhere you need to have an active subscription so I'm probably not getting an invite any time soon.

Decided to just make my own vanilla private server to fuck about on since I was in the mood. Seems to be working great so far, if it seems stable enough and not total shit, happy to let anyone else here play on it too.

Still impressed with how the classic servers felt during the recent stress test. I'm little sad they insist on layering though.
A big standpoint for me though, is how out in the world feels a little more difficult than private servers (likely due to all abilities actually working) however dungeons feel a lot easier (elites not hitting as hard as they do on private servers) for the most part.

Been enjoying watching some of the classic streams, plenty of nostagla.

One thing i noticed is how people are saying that MC will be easy and be clearable the moment you hit 60 etc etc, i think alot of them are forgetting just how much of a gear check the raid was, whilst there is mountains of data out on how the boss fights work its still a big gear check.

Anyways, my red hot tip for a reliable and fairly fast gold source is heralism and farm around the crater at un;goro for mountain silverage and dreamfoil. Back in the original each stack was worth 10-15g and you would get at least 1 stack of MSS and 1-2 stacks of dreamfoil per lap (each lap took around 15min with the 60% mount)

Easily the most reliable gold farm i found or heard of in original. Combine it with Alchemy as well.

I used to farm it twice an hour, after raids (so midnight to 6am) whilst doing my scout duties for world bosses on 2nd-3rd accounts. then i would manipulate the auction house to keep the price high (buy out the auction lots lower then mine)

I'm going hunter this time around because of uni. i don't have the time. So as a hunter i can do lots of solo things. Also be okay with just getting a good bow and some BOE things like the devilsaur stuff :)
