I found these videos quite interesting, if it all plays out like AMD hope, they should be in a strong position in the future.

I used to enjoy seeing someones sig here after that load of gobshite, went something like " Kyles arse can be bought for a pink doughnut " or so

I'll be back to Team Red when AM4/490 combo is available. I too feel dirty using Intel gear :Pirate:

I'll stick it out I'm about to put a FX9590 in and then I will see how Zen performs when it is out. If it is still way behind I will hang my head in shame as I go to the other side.

Yeah I just built my first ever Intel/Nvidia system. Always used AMD/Radeon prior to this, from my Athlon XP to an 7850k APU... While I love the new system and what its capable of, I hope and pray to make a return to AMD for my next build.

They will be back with DX12, like a phoenix from the ashes.

Q2 Results are in - Exceeded forecast,

    http://ir.amd.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=74093&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=2187336

    driven primarily by:

    -Notebook APU sales
    -Custom SoC's (Consoles)
    -IP Licencing

So this was basically achieved without Polaris (RX480) , as it launched so late in the Qtr.

    Good to hear.

I'm not a fanboy of any company out there, but I do consider competition to be very important.

Yeah definitely good news. Would hate to see AMD go under....someone needs to keep Intel honest.
