Went down to the WRC on Sunday. Took way too many photos. Haven't looked through them all yet! Heard the spectator points were better on Friday / Saturday so next time I might actually plan ahead  I was also on the wrong side of the sun at both points :thumbdn:

Some lovely shots you got there. What speccy points were they at? What gear are you using?

Was an amazing weekend overall (I absolutely loved it).

I gather you were at the general spectator points, because Plum Pudding (from what I heard) and Red Range Rd (where I was all Sunday) were absolute jaw droppers. The points were astoundingly good.

#8 looks like it wasn't about to end well.

I've got about 1300 photos over the entire weekend to sort through, but will eventually get some posted up.

Can someone inform me when events like this are on? Or at least point me to a website with the information?

    Awesome photos

Fark jumpy ... you absolutely nailed that shot

    To do list before 2013:
    1. Make friends with farmers around dirt roads.
    2. Plead insanely to "visit" as a friend convenientely over those dates.

Will post some of mine up when I get a chance to look through them in next few days.

Apologies for the ugly watermark (still haven't figured out how to do them in PSP and it's in centre so it can't be cropped out), but I've had photos stolen from my PB account before, and had multiple memebers of public who attended the rally that I'd sent the link to.

Only editing is resize and watermark (obvious).

Anyway here are my 8 favourite shots of the Rally.

All in all I'm pretty happy how they all turned out all things considered. Picked up some new skills at same time and had a great time up there.

    Cheers C.Michael ... that was somewhat a fluke :D

Coffs Harbour is about 7 hours north of Sydney. There really aren't the roads much closer to Sydney to hold so many stages. Maybe the Watagans, but problem there is no accommodation/spectator points.

Anywhooo, plan a trip for 2013, as it appears to come every 2 years (alternating Aus and NZ). They are making a play from 2013 onwards to make it a yearly event in Australia too.

Keep an ear out mind 2013 around Rally of NZ time, as thats when they'll announce Aus for 2013 (if we get the OK again).
