Seeing as the 7800GTX's had an owners club Im assuming we can do the same...

If you dont own a 1900XT in any way shape or form you are still welcome here, and if you are upset that such a thread has been created...please take your problem to the admins...im sure they have big shoulders for you to cry on!

EDIT: I've PMed TazBazz. Hopefully we can now get on with a reasonably civilised thread. A lot of posts have been deleted - many were not actually 'bad' posts, but they were just replies to TazBazz's ones (and made no sense when I deleted those).

Anyway, let's try to stay on topic for now.

EDIT2: I think we have a record. There are now 15 visible posts in this thread and 12 deleted ones.

It's now actually 13 deleted (I missed one earlier).

The thread may have gone bad, but I'm sure we can do something about that.

How are people going in the search for drivers? In particular, TOX, what drivers are you using for the Crossfire system? Is that working well, or are there major issues like artifacts or missing objects?

It doesn't seem irrelevant to me. This is a club for X1900XT owners. The drivers are one of the big problems for those people at the moment. It makes sense to use the club to talk about that sort of thing, does it not?

I had expected that the thread would be used to talk about the cards in general (rather than just to formulate a list of exactly who has the cards) - was I wrong?

    Omega 3.8.205

    along with

    ATI Tool Beta 12

was good for 5934 3D Mark 06 with Single core cpu. Should be able to hit 6000 fairly easily.

For X1900XT/X overclocking, I recommend setting the Vgpu core to 1.4v as a starting point, as by default Ati Tool sets gpu voltages to 1.1v wich is way to low.

Maximum I tried on my GPU was 1.47v without any problems. But obviously the more volts you put through it the more likley you are to kill it, & my card is under phase :) so your results mabye better/worse.

edit: & use it at your own risk :D

So C-Buzz what kind of clocks on the gpu are you getting with those voltages and under phase? and what do you think would be a safe voltage with the stock cooler?

I may have to give the omega's a go, i have been using the HIS drivers and seem to work ok and have only been overclocking through CCC. I am scoring 5961 in 3d06 with x2 @2.72 and 685/1600.

    nice score there.

gpu was @ 755. Didnt get any artifacts the whole way through. Pretty sure the stock volts is 1.4, as I couldnt really overclock it at all with anything less.

Im not sure what a safe voltage would be for air as I havent done any real overclocking on air.

I think 1.4v is a safe bet for stock core volts. However as stated.. try it at your own risk :)

Start with 1.1v which is default anyway, then work your way up until it gets to hot..
