Got in also, not bad at all. If Optus start offering free Xbox content then it could be worth it, if not it's time to move!

i can see this being a huge flop in australia... would anyone seriously pay for a movie AND nerf a huge chunk of their quota for a hd movie?

wait for the complaints about crazy excess usage bills and people wondering why they get capped so quickly once this goes mainstream...

The points costs aren't very well thought out either.

Costs more than to rent them from the local store.

Considering I can pay $6 to rent a movie for 48 hours from Foxtel in beautiful HD without taking a hit to my quota, stuff you microsoft :p

I got accepted too, will have to go and update my console :D

Or wait for more companies to pull their head out and make Live quota free like iiNet does. I'd use the movie rentals if I was with iiNet.

Just uses points. ~300-500 I think depending on the film, and whether it's in high def or not. No idea how much quota it'd burn if you aren't with iiNet but I imagine it'd be a lot.

Edit: That's for a streaming rental.

lol - was going to post the same thing! :D Got it yesterday and I couldn't find last.fm either. Anyone find it yet? There has been nothing on the intertubes telling me no last.fm for Aus. It was really the only feature I was looking forward to in the preview!

The way they've utilised facebook leaves a little to be desired i think, i'd like to scroll the whole page like i can on my desktop not do a big root around with the shoulder buttons and shuffle like a deck of cards.

I think the way twitter and FB works on the 360 is way better than facebook and twitter itself lol

I thought last.fm wasn't avaliable in Australia for some reason...

Its nothing special, hardly feels intergrated into the dashboard. And when you open the photo viewing section or anything with a lot of data its turns into a lag fest.
